Depot is on strike
The highlight of this year's 40th anniversary of the founding of the Solidarity Trade Union in Wrocław is the exhibition „Zajezdnia strajkuje” („Depot is on strike”).

Exciting time travel
How to tell a story in an authentic, interesting and engaging way? How to turn the viewer of the exhibition into a participant in the presented events? How to experience the history with emotions and even senses? We will see it soon thanks to the exhibition „Zajezdnia strajkuje” („Depot is on strike”).
- We want to tell a history in an engaging way, show it in such a way that it can be experienced. The expressive form of the exhibition "Depot is on strike" will allow visitors to feel as a part of the events they are watching, and thanks of that understand them better. The idea of solidarity is extremely relevant today, and the birth of Solidarity in Wrocław in 1980 has a special importance for this city, as it contributed to building and consolidating its Polish identity. - says phd Marek Mutor, director of The Depot History Center.
We will invite you to the world of images, animations, sounds, smells and emotions. In that journey some stars of Polish cinema will accompany you – actors such as Rafał Zawierucha, Krzysztof Czeczot, Anna Próchniak and Kazimierz Kaczor will lend their voices to the leading figures of the Wrocław strike.
The "Depot is on strike" will be available to visitors from August 27. There will be restrictions on the number of people entering the exhibition. Reservations can be made by phone (71 715 96 82) or e-mail ([email protected]). A normal ticket will cost 10 PLN, a reduced ticket - 5 PLN.
